I got a monster check into the boards by NHL's famous Eric Lindros. I got up off of the ice and I noticed that I was playing for the NHL's Stanley cup Champions, the Detroit Red Wings. After my shift when I got back to the bench Scotti Bowman the coach for the Detroit Red Wings said"Great job Steve!" I thought for a minute and wondered why he called me Steve. I thought for another minute and then. Brendan Shanahan said"Let's go Steve!" I went out for another shift. It was a good shift. Brenden Shanahan scored a goal assisted by Marty Lapointe. When I got back to the bench I thought some more about why they were calling me Steve and why I was here. When the game was over we went to the locker room to change. Everyone was telling each other how good they did in defeating Philadelphia 7 to 0. they kept saying great job Steve. I couldn't understand why they kept calling me Steve that wasn't my name. While I was thinking I noticed that Steven Yzerman the captain of the Detroit Red Wings wasn't at the game. Then when I took off my jersey I noticed on the back of my Jersey it had a 19 on the back with the name Yzerman.....
