Greek Time Period

One sunny warm day Christine
woke up and got ready for school. She was finishing brushing her hair when she
suddenly turned around and she was in the Greek time period. She got really scared
so she started crying.
She walked down to the pond and
cried some more. Just then Eros, the handsome son of Zeus, appeared.
He took her hand and told her not to cry anymore. When she stopped crying he
took her to Olympus to see Zeus.
When they got to Olympus, Christine
started crying again. But Eros comforted her. They talked to Zeus and Zeus
told Christine that she could stay in Olympus until it was time for her to leave.
Eros was happy ('cause he's in love with her). but Christine wanted to go home, so she
started crying again. But somehow Eros persuaded her to stay. So eventually
she stayed.
It was getting dark so Eros took
Christine to her room and she slept with no trouble. She dreamed of the handsome
god. She dreamed that they were married and they lived in a beautiful house with
servants. She smiled to herself. She knew she was in love with the handsome
god., but she wouldn't let him know. I'll wait 'till I leave, then I'll tell him,
she thought to herself.
Early next morning Christine woke
up and saw that Eros was already in her room He smiled at her when he saw that
she was looking at him. She got caught off guard and suddenly blushed.
"Morning, beautiful."
said Eros.
"Morning." said
Christine.
"Let's go for a walk.
I'll show you around. You know take you places." he said.
"Sure just let me get washed
up. Than we can go alright?" she answered.
"Okay. I'll wait for you
downstairs." said Eros.
"See you in a bit." said
Christine.
After she got washed up she went
downstairs and saw that he was waiting for her patiently. What a nice guy, she
thought to herself.
"Are we ready to go? he asked
in a mannerly kind way.
"All set to go." she
answered.
So they went outside and he gave
her a tour around the castle. She was surprised at the sight of how big it was.
Next they went to the pond where Eros first saw Christine crying.
"I love this pond. The
water's so clear you can see your own reflection." said Christine happily.
"Yeah you can and you look
lovely," he said shyly, "I meant....ok, let's just go somewhere else."
"Sure." said
Christine.
Next they went to the forest and
they saw pretty animals. After that they went to Athens. They spent the whole
day touring Olympus and Athens. When they were about done touring Athens, Eros
bought Christine a pretty bouquet of flowers.
"Thanks." said Christine.
"No problem." was all he
said.
Dark was coming so he took her hand
and they went back to Olympus. When they got back, they had some supper.
"Thanks for giving me a tour
of Olympus and Athens," she said after they had finished their meals.
"No problem. I hope you
weren't tired and bored." he said.
"Board? No way. I wasn't
bored. I was having fun." she said. Who would be bored with a handsome
god taking her on a tour, she thought to herself. After their little discussion,
they said goodnight to each other and went to their own rooms for a goodnight sleep.
When she got to her room, she undressed quickly and went to sleep. She dreamed of
Eros all night long.
Next morning when she awoke, she
was surprised that Eros wasn't in her room. I wonder where he could be , she asked
herself. She got dress quickly and went downstairs. When she got
downstairs there was no sight of him anywhere. Where could he be now, she asked
herself. Just then she had an idea. Maybe I can go ask Zeus, she said
silently to herself. So she did. She went to Zeus's room and asked him where
Eros was.
"Oh my dear girl., my son is
in his room You see this morning the wizard came to talk to us about you.
Wizard told us that you'd be leaving tomorrow at midnight. Eros is very sad because
he has fallen in love with you. But please don't disturb him." said Zeus sadly.
"Thanks for telling me Zeus.
I promise I won't disturb him." said Christine.
She knew she shouldn't go see Eros
but she was curious about the truth. So she went to see him anyway. When she
got to his room she knocked on his door and heard a muffled voice call out to her. So she
went in.
"Look Eros, I know you're in
love with me and I'm in love with you, too. I'm sorry that I'll be leaving tomorrow
at midnight. But please just talk to me." she begged him.
"There's nothing to talk
about." he snapped.
"Please just talk to me."
she begged.
"Oh, alright. What do you
want?" he asked.
"I want to know the truth.
Are you in love with me or not? she asked.
"If you want to know the
truth, here it is, I ....am.....in.....love....with....you okay." he stammered.
"I knew it. I knew it"
she cried out.
"Look I'm sorry I snapped at
you. It's just that I don't want you to leave." he said sadly.
"I don't want to leave either.
Why don't we spend today and tomorrow together since we have so little time? Let's
make the best out of the little time we have together." she said.
"Okay. Do you mind if we
go outside and go by the pond? he asked.
"I don't mind." she
answered.
So they went outside and went by
the pond. When they looked into the pond they saw their own reflections.
"You know what?" asked
Eros.
"What?" answered
Christine.
"You and I make a pretty good
couple." he said shyly.
"You're right. We do
make a good couple." she said.
They spent the whole day at the
pond fooling around. When it got dark they left the pond and went back to Olympus.
As soon as they got back, Christine went directly to her room and slept peacefully.
She had a wonderful dream about Eros.
In the morning
Christine woke up and saw that Eros was in her room. She was happy to see him.
He was smiling when he saw that Christine was happy to see him. He came to
her bed and said,
"Morning Beautiful."
"Morning yourself." she
said back.
"Let's go somewhere,"
said Eros.
"Sure but just let me get
ready okay? she answered.
"Okay. I'll wait for you
downstairs." said Eros.
After Christine got ready they went
to the garden outside of the castle. When they got to the castle Eros picked a
flower and gave it to Christine.
"Thanks," said Christine.
} "Your welcome." said Eros.
"I'm having so much fun and
yet I'm leaving at midnight. I"ve only been here 3 days and it feels more like
I've been here for weeks." she said.
"Speaking of
leaving, where are you suppose to be at midnight? asked Eros.
"Good questions. I
don't know." answered Christine.
"Maybe we should go ask
Wizard." he suggested.
So they went to Wizard's house to
see where Christine should be at midnight. When they got there they asked Wizard.
"Hmm.....just let me check my
timer." he said.
A little while later Wizard finally
answered. "Yes, here we are. She is to be at the pond with a hairbrush by
midnight." the he turned to Christine and said, "you should be at the pond
brushing your hair at midnight. When you're done brushing your hair, you'll turn
around and you'll be back home safe and sound."
"Thanks Wizard."
they said together.
After they left Wizard's house they
went back to the garden. They fooled around until 10pm then went back inside the
castle to get ready. They left the castle around 10:45pm and got to the pond
at around 11pm. When they got to the pond Eros said."I'm going to miss you a
lot. You're the best thing that's ever happen to me."
"I'm going to miss you
too." said Christine.
At 11:45pm Wizard came and told
Christine that she should start getting ready. But before she got ready she went
over to Eros and kissed him softly.
"I'm going to miss you.
But remember you'll always be in my heart." Christine said sadly. She
gave him another kiss then went and got ready. It was midnight now, so Christine
started brushing her hair. Just before she was about done brushing her hair she
turned back to have one last look at Eros, but she didn't see him. All she saw was
her room. That was weird, she thought to herself. She was still trying to
remember what happened that she didn't even notice her boyfriend, Brad, come in.
"Morning Christine."
Brad said cheerfully.
"Oh hi Brad. Morning?
It's only midnight. Haven't you missed me? I've been gone for 3 days
now." said Christine, who was really confused.
Midnight? What are you
talking about? It's only 7:15 am and we better hurry or we'll be late for
school." said Brad. Just then Christine figured out that everything that
happened was only in her imagination. She had imagined the whole thing in her head.
"Christine, are you alright?
asked a worried Brad.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's
go or we'll be late." said Christine.
"Let's go." said Brad
after he gave her a quick kiss.
So Brad and Christine left for
school. But Christine was still in a daze. Christine was so glad that
everything that happened had only been in her imagination. She knew that Eros in her
imagination was cute, but Brad was dreamy and hot. How could I've fallen for Eros
when my boyfriend's a whole lot better she asked herself. By then they where already
outside and getting inside Brad's car.
"Christine, what are you
thinking about?" asked Brad curiously as they got inside the car.
"Oh, I' only thinking about
how dreamy and hot you are." answered Christine.
"You're pretty yourself and I
love you a lot." added Brad and he then kissed her.
"I love you too."
said Christine as she kissed him back.
They smiled at each other then Brad
drove them to school. This is going to be a long day Christine thought.
