Both PTO Council and the Stevens Point PTSA exist to enhance the
educational opportunities for children; and |

The PTO Council and the Stevens Point PTSA provide a mechanism for parent
involvement in the operation of our school district; and |
| Whereas: |
The PTO Council has found the monthly PTA materials to be valuable ; and |
| Whereas: |
The PTO Council believes that parents in our school district would benefit
from being kept informed on state and national educational issues through PTA resources;
THEREFORE BE IT |
| Resolved: |
PTO Council encourages the continuation of the Stevens Point PTSA; and BE
IT FURTHER |
| Resolved: |
PTO Council supports the continued dissemination of PTA information by
funding the membership expense for one representative per school for each of the PTO
Council Schools as well as one subscription to the PTA magazine "Our Children";
and BE IT FURTHER |
| Resolved: |
To encourage ease of communication and cooperation between the PTO Council
and Stevens Point PTSA, the PTO Council recommends that the Stevens Point PTSA schedule
its quarterly general membership meetings immediately before four of the monthly PTO
Council meetings. |
