Complete Annual School Costs

Complete Annual School Cost (CASC) is a measure of total school district expenditures, regardless of revenue source, for public PK-12 education. Revenue sources include state general and categorical aid, local property taxes, federal aid, and miscellaneous local receipts. In addition to the PK-12 program, some districts operate community service programs. Expenditures for community service programs are not included in Complete Annual School Cost.

Stevens Point School District Trends Compared to The State Average

Based on data from the State DPI,  Stevens Point has been behind in state average spending for many years.  Our district is now in the bottom 4% for school tax levy increases since the revenue limits went into place.
